One Cobb Village

I occasionaly create pro bono websites for non-profit organizations in my area that do valuable work to support our community. One Cobb Village is a website I created for Cobb County’s Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS) in Cobb County, Georgia. This non-profit supports children in foster care who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect.

Project Overview

My clients desired a colorful and easy to navigate website to allow them to share information about their volunteer opportunities and programs. They needed a “Cobb Care Portal” where the community could go to find out about the their current needs and ways to donate. They also wanted a blog for writing articles about the happenings in the DFCS community.

Project Features

  • Cobb Care Portal for ways to donate
  • Sections describing programs and volunteer opportunities with forms for sign up
  • Blog for articles about DFCS happenings with ability to share articles to social media
  • Email signup for newsletters via the website
  • Logo creation via Canva

I have had the pleasure of working with Thomson Web Services to build a site for work. It turned out absolutely beautiful! Theresa has such an eye for font, colors and logos. We couldn’t be happier! She has had a timely response to any of my questions and I can’t wait to show off the gorgeous site to everyone!
